If you live in the Hudson Valley, you should consider participating in one of the many Dutchess county golf outings. There are a number of charities in the area that would benefit from your participation, such as the House of Hope and Trump national golf club Hudson Valley. The Dutchess County Golf Outing is held each year to benefit these causes.
Dutchess county golf tournaments
There are a number of changes afoot at Dutchess County golf tournaments this year, including a move of the Amateur to June instead of August. For years, the tournament began in early August and was paired with a senior amateur event. The tournament organizers have not yet selected a date for the senior event, but the Women’s Amateur is set for July 13 at Casperkill Golf Club. However, the Women’s event has been pushed back in order to accommodate a new schedule.
The Dutchess County Amateur is open to golfers who have graduated from high school in the county. Previously, the tournament was limited to residents, but this year, it is open to anyone who graduated from any of the county’s high schools. The senior amateur event, however, is not open to nonresidents.
Trump national golf club Hudson Valley
Trump National Hudson Valley in Duchess County, New York, offers a number of different events and activities for the whole family. Vassar golf course
Located on the campus of Vassar College, Vassar golf course offers nine-hole public golf courses that are ideal for all skill levels. Founded in 1930, the course features a scenic 2,500-yard layout. Golfers can opt to walk the course, or rent golf carts. Both public and private groups are welcome to join golf outings at Vassar.
The golf course is a popular destination for outings in Dutchess County, as it’s located on one of the most scenic stretches of land in the region. Vassar golf course is also an excellent choice for families with small children. Its lush landscaping and abundant wildlife make the course ideal for children.
